A forward thinking design agency.

Here at Flux we are always looking for our next project. We believe that no matter how small it may be, all projects deserve a chance.

Flux Consultancy Packages

We offer our serves in two forms. Firstly, a consultancy package. These packages include a 1 on 1 conversation where the client and the Flux team will discuss the scope of the project at length to give both parties a better understanding of the work ahead. All Packages depend on the needs of the clients.

Package 01

-4 Hours
-In person at Flux, or Zoom Call
-A standard research investigation of the project as notes/key points.

= £350.00+

Package 02

-8 Hours
-In person at Flux, or Zoom Call
-Lunch and regular refreshments provided
-A detailed breakdown presentation and POA (Plan of action)

= £700.00+

Package 03

-16 Hours
-In person at Flux, or Zoom Call (Split between 2 or 3 days)
-Lunch and regular refreshments provided
-A detailed breakdown presentation and POA (Plan of action) with initial phase 1 ideation.

= £1300.00+

The second way is for clients and projects that require a different approach. Not all briefs follow the same pattern and require slightly more examination. We will review the project, outlining what we recommend and how we would go about completing the work. Sometimes a project only requires one or two phases.

How We Work – Design phase

Phase 1 – Ideation
-Ideation provides a solid foundation as the time to generate ideas and discuss using sketches and research. At Flux, we believe that research plays a huge role in ensuring that the project is successful. The team will sit together and brainstorm to better explore the potential design directions of the project.
Phase 2 – Ideation and Form development
-After a meeting with the clients and once a lead has been chosen, the team will continue to develop the idea into a solid form and create sketch concepts to better illustrate the designs. The concept will be placed into a large range of potential forms that will then be developed and challenged to ensure that the function meets the form.
Phase 3 – Model and Block CAD
-After a lengthy meeting to discuss the previous phase, the team will begin creating block CAD and models to better represent the design direction and maybe even product. This will be a digital illustration of what the product or concept might look like. A Solidworks model will be created before using professional rendering software (Keyshot) to produce life-like images of what the concept.
Phase 4 – Prototyping and CAD
-Once agreed upon, Flux will create a 3D model or physical representation of what the product or concept will look like. We will utilise both onsite and offsite 3D printers and laser cutters to achieve this. During this process, the team will work closely with the clients to ensure nothing is forgotten. CAD models will be created using Solidworks CAD software and Rendered using Keyshot.
Phase 5 – Engineering drawings and Final Deliverables
After all has been signed off and a solid idea has been put into play, the team will create the final model and drawings to accommodate to ensure the model can be manufactured with ease. All final work will be handed over.
